What is Stuacher about?

Hey! Welcome to Stuacher! My name is Kaan and I am a teacher. I work in the field of English language education and have a Bachelor’s degree in ELT from İstanbul University. I am also a CELTA holder and I look forward to extending my knowledge in this field. Hi guys! Today I am going to talk about Udemy.  Udemy is an online learning platform. It is aimed at professional adults. It uses content from online content creators. Udemy‘s mission is to improve lives through learning. Their global marketplace features an extensive, multi-language library, which includes over 65,000 courses taught by expert instructors. You can take courses across a wide range of categories, some of which include: business & entrepreneurship, programming, academics, the arts, health & fitness, language, music, technology, games, and more.  You can check other e-learning platforms such as Edx and Coursera.  Here is my certificate. 

Pixton

What's up folks? Today we are going to look at Pixton! Pixton is a website that allows teachers and students to construct their own comic strips. There are a variety of comic strips layouts numerous character and background choices, and a ton of creative options. This is a great learner-centered tool that allows students to construct their own knowledge and display it in a way that is meaningful to them by allowing them to create comics representing their concepts and ideas. Hello everyone! Sutori is an imaginative, flexible resource for teachers to encourage their students to explore, research and collect media to illustrate the story they hope to tell. There are ample options to embed media and students will appreciate getting instant feedback on the quiz questions and exploring the videos, images and pop-up text in their own stories and within those their classmates create. Hey! Thinglink is a free and user friendly digital tool that provides users with the ability to turn any image to an interactive graphic. Gamification

Hi folks! What do you know about gamification? The gamification of learning is an educational approach to motivate students to learn by using video game design and game elements in learning environments. The goal is to maximize enjoyment and engagement through capturing the interest of learners and inspiring them to continue learning. Gamification makes use of gaming mechanichs, such as badges, points, levels, or leaderboards and applies these mechanics to the way a learning course is taught. This, in turn, improves learners' motivation. Moreover, the design of games offer learners the freedom to fail, face and accomplish various challenges and goals respectively. Flipgrid

Hey everyone! In this post we are going to view Flipgrid. Flipgrid is a social learning platform that allows educators to ask a question, then the students respond in a video. Students are then able to respond to one another, creating a "web" of discussion. Thus students can monitor each other's mistake and this means a lot because students get feedback from not only their teacher but also their classmates.
